London, UK: First it was running, now cycling! -  The founders of the global social platform for runners, Joggingbuddy.com, are soon to launched its new platform geared towards cyclists; www.cyclingbuddy.com

Cyclingbuddy will permit cyclists of all disciplines to have a single platform that will allow them to meet other cyclists in their area.  In addition the site will have useful hints, tips and product reviews that will inform cyclists of all abilities.

Its founder, Tony Piedade said “ JoggingBuddy has been a great success with members now in 99 countries.  Cycling is another great form of exercise with an ever growing global following.  We hope to ensure that cyclists keep on cycling, stay fit and stop their bikes from rusting in the shed”

CyclingBuddy.com is totally free, making the site accessible to as many people with an interest in cycling as possible.  Whether you are a recreational cyclist in need of some company or a serious road-racing cyclist looking for someone to pace with cyclingbuddy.com aims to find you the right partner.

For the hardcore cyclist who prefers to cycle alone, the site has a number of great features allowing you to still be part of this great community.  Amongst the most popular features are the ability to plan, save and share your favorite cycling routes, and a cycling log where you can track your progress and contribute to the website’s 1 million mile challenge.
