The B17 narrow is the race version .....but the professional standard looks fine on a road bike.

B17 Standard is a great touring saddle. For a bit of extra bling get the Professional version. Or if on a tight budget have a look at Spa Cycles of Harrogate who do their own cheaper versions - that get very good reviews. A leather saddle will take a few 100 miles to break in, but they have a tension adjuster so you can tune them to your preference.

Go to your lbs and get measured, I got a gel saddle a good one range about the £50 mark or you could get a gel seat cover to go over your existing saddle.

P.s I have no meat on my Posterior so normally have to wear 2 pairs of padded shorts.

Would like the birthday fairy to bring me a Brooks saddle in June. Got to be able to sit on it ALL day whether it's pleasure or sportives. Which one shall i opt for ?
