I know what you mean by saving up , I had to save a while to buy my rear hub but it was worth it , I never replace anything till it breaks then I either by the same or better well as good as I can afford .

Thanks Dave, most riding is XC and have been looking at Hope sets, waiting for original hubs to be repaired under warrenty and starting to save up for replacements.

Depends what you want to do , I went hope pro 2 rear with a 12 mm maxel , makes it stiff and more responsive. Perfect for my style of riding which is mostly xc and trail . If you a speed demon go,for Mavic crossmax sl or,similar .
