Hi Keith, most cleats have some degree of "float" to allow you to compensate for dodgy knees etc. You can buy cleats with a smaller degree of float - but you are more likely to damage knees etc using more restrictive cleats. If your feet were really moving about, check that your cleats are firmly fixed to your shoes and that the tensionadjustment on the pedal is set correctly. Most people back the release tensioner off when they first start riding until they are more confident - so it may be that they were backed off too far.

Hello all. I did my first cleated ride today and much to my suprise my foot moved about quite a lot in the peddle is that normal or am i doing something wrong ?
