That was a reply to Judith B, but this interface does not make that clear.

Well, they'll be a bit faster. Does this matter enough?

Most of the year round i use Specialized Armadillo tyres. great rolling speed and virtually puncture proof in all situations aside from a nail or chunk of glass in the tyre :-). Lugano tyres come highly recommended as well. Lighter weight than the Spesh tyres and they do have a puncture protection belt.

Hi Judith I have a cannondale Synapse mine has Schwalbe Lugano tyres on and I find them really smooth, slick and certainly a lot faster than my semi slick MTB tyres as I suspect I would. I suppose your sammy slicks are perfect if you do a little off road cycle paths, cinder tracks, etc. You may notice only a slight difference on the road should you change them if your only doing a small amount of milage. everyones experience is different. I'd say go for it if you can afford to change them.

I'm currently riding a Cannodale CAADX with Schwalbe Sammy Sick Road CX tyres... I was wondering if it was worth changing them to a road tyre,,,,, I do tend to use the bike more for road work than anything else, but don't know if it would make a great deal of difference as I dont do MEGGA miles......Any advice appreciated....... :-)
